Established in March of 2023, Tlicho Adventures Ltd. (TAL) is the tourism division of the Tlicho Investment Corporation created to diversify the economic portfolio and create meaningful employment opportunities for Tlicho citizens. TAL is committed to supporting a sustainable and thriving tourism industry in the Northwest Territories by offering high-quality fishing, cultural, and outdoor adventure experiences.

Tlicho Adventures Ltd. owns and manages:
    • Lac La Martre Adventures (6224 NWT Ltd.), operating seasonally June to October as a premier seasonal sport fishing lodge located north of Whatì on Lac La Martre, offering world-class fishing and cozy accommodations in a pristine wilderness setting.

    • My Backyard Tours, a Yellowknife-based tour company acquired in 2023, specializing in guided city tours, outdoor adventure experiences and winter clothing rentals.

    • The operations and maintenance contract for the North Arm Territorial Park (Campground) with the Government of the Northwest Territories, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained experience for visitors with innovative services and cultural experiences offered by nearby Tlicho community members.

Tlicho Adventures Ltd. emphasizes professionalism, safety, environmental stewardship, and efficiency in all operations. TAL integrates tourism as a key pillar of economic growth, benefiting both visitors and local communities while celebrating Tlicho culture and traditions.

In addition to our core operations, TAL develops and promotes immersive tourism itineraries, connecting guests to the rich heritage of the Tlicho region through experiences like guided tours, dry fish demonstrations, and artisan workshops.
